In this lecture, Dr. Sanabel Al-Far discussed the technical expertise employed by Qasem Haddad, the Bahraini poet, in his translation of his self-vision of the world and the individual, where it presents the art of visual distribution, poetic text thresholds, and the poetry of narration, in addition to the role of these tools in questioning the outside and re-examining human existence through poetry and writing.
We host lectures and cultural activities every week in the Fall and Spring terms, and twice a week in the Summer Intensive programs. The lectures span history, politics, music, literature, journalism, sociology, environmental issues, and much more! We’ve been honored to host a number of notable speakers at Sijal, and a non-exhaustive list of lectures that have been held in the past can be found below.
