CREDIT TRANSFER
Sijal is accredited through their School of Record at the University of Montana (UM) and has established course equivalences with UM language courses. Students are eligible to receive college credits from UM for their coursework at Sijal, and have up to one year to register for college credit, upon completion of their coursework.
The University of Montana will process student enrollment, post letter grades on a 4.0 scale, and provide a transcript. Credit is processed at a fee of $200 per semester credit, with a maximum of $600 USD per transcript, regardless of the credit hours taken. During the academic year, our intensive integrated core course carries 8 credits and our colloquial coursework carries 3 credits. In each 5-week summer session, the intensive integrated core course carries 4 credits and the colloquial/content coursework carries 1 credit.
