CORE DATES
Sijal offers courses over three terms: Spring, Summer, and Fall. The Summer Term is split into two sessions. Our intensive Summer sessions cover the same content as our Spring and Fall terms. Below are the term dates for the 2026\2027 Academic year:
Fall 2026: September 6th - December 17th (Orientation: September 6th)
Spring 2027: January 10th - April 29th (Orientation: January 10th)
Summer intensive I 2027: June 6th - July 8th (Orientation: June 5th) (a week’s break July 11th-15th)
Summer intensive 2 2027: July 18th - August 19th (Orientation: July 17th)
Fall 2027: September 5th - December 16th (Orientation: September 5th)
Summer intensive courses are available at the same dates both in-person and online; Spring and Fall terms are only available in-person.

Note that we have rolling admissions and the final deadline to apply is one week before the start of the term or summer session. To secure acceptance and have ample preparation time before your travels, however, we encourage you to apply as early as possible.

WORK-STUDY APPLICATION DATES
We are now accepting applications for the 2027 Spring, Summer, and Fall terms. The deadline to apply for a work-study position for the Spring term of 2027 is November 13th, 2026, and applicants will hear back regarding their application by November 20th. The deadline for a work-study position for Summer 2027 is April 15th, 2027, and applicants will hear back by April 22nd. The deadline to apply for a work-study position for the Fall term of 2027 is July 15th, 2027, and applicants will hear back regarding their application by July 22nd.
