A professor of Social Development and Policy at Habib University in Kerachi, Pakistan, Prof. Massimo Ramaioli researches the intersection of Islam, politics, and international relations. He spoke with Sijal about the history of Salafism, its ideological foundations, and how its role in regional politics.
